This is arguably the best thing you can do with a cabbage and it is so simple. It's also probably the most bang in the fewest ingredients I have ever come across. You can do the same thing with chicken breasts.
Pork chops
Cabbage
Salt (Lowry's is good for this)
Garlic Powder
Pepper
Preheat oven to 300-350F. Season both sides of pork chops and brown in pan. Lay in casserole or baking dish. Cut cabbage into 1/4-1/2" slices. Loosen cabbage and put on top of meat in baking dish until full. Cover and bake until cabbage is tender but not too soft and meat is done which is about 45 min., I think.
